Artem Sedov, Founder, General Director of the Russian production company «Big three», the Deputy head of the Expert Council on energy efficiency under the Ministry of construction and housing and communal services of the Russian Federation, member of the working group of the International electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on smart cities Ph. D., doctoral candidate, associate Professor. Between 2009 and 2011, during his post graduating studies in NRU MGSU, he interned in Germany, in Berlin Technical University. From 2012 to 2014 he participated in the development of a unique laboratory «Smart city» NRU MGSU. The laboratory has received international recognition. In 2013-2015 he was directly involved in the work of the UN economic Commission for Europe and UN-habitat on the development of smart city indicators as an expert consultant. At the moment, the indicators developed in the framework of this work are the only system of smart city indicators adopted at the intergovernmental level. He also took part in the work on the creation of the UN Geneva Charter on sustainable housing. From 2015 to the present time he is the General Director of the Russian production company «Big three». During this time, the «Big three» has become a recognized leader in the development of software for digitalization of waste management, took part in the development of several Federal state information systems. During the period from 2016 to 2017, software products developed by the «Big three» were introduced in more than 30 Regions of the Russian Federation. In 2018-2019 it is planned to introduce another 40 Regions of the Russian Federation.
